Straight Talk about Smoke-Free Laws View video and report on health and business benefits of smoke free workplaces
This is great news for all Philadelphians. Now virtually all Philly workplaces, restaurants and bars will protect your right to breathe clean air. Adding Philadelphia to the growing list of smoke-free cities is a marvelous win for public health. Secondhand smoke is not just annoying - it's dangerous. Anyone who breathes secondhand smoke is breathing in arsenic, ammonia, cyanide and more than 4,000 other chemicals - including 69 chemicals known to cause cancer. Everyone deserves to earn a living or enjoy a nice meal out with family and friends without being exposed to the dangers of secondhand smoke.
Thank you for supporting a smoke-free Philly! About Breathe Free Philadelphia AllianceTogether - along with a diverse group of supporters from the Philadelphia community - the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and the Clean Air Council are leading a grassroots effort to protect Philadelphia residents and workers from the harmful effects of secondhand smoke and make our city smoke-free. This site is hosted by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids on behalf of the Breathe Free Philadelphia Alliance. |
